This will be the very first Juice Feast that Nathan and I have ever done as we just learned about it last year. The last two summers I have done two 4o+ day green juice fasts and had tremendous benefits from it.
As many of you know I was diagnosed with breast cancer and left the allopathic medical system after having been told I had 2 new spots in my right breast and they were recommending more surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. You can read a summary of my allopathic treatment in a letter that my surgeon wrote to me when I left her care in September of 2005 here.
In both of my previous fasts I saw a reduction of the mass in my right breast reduce significantly. Unlike Dr Day who had to carry her tumor around with her because it got so large, mine was confined to my breast. Since I had three previous surgeries the tumor just filled in the space they had removed and so it was not as noticeable as Dr Day’s which was in the middle of her chest. The tumor in my breast reached the size of my right fist before it started to decline. We documented the decrease in size during my last juice fast and will document it again during this juice feast.
